Bunting Masters Scholarships for Management and Finance

Deadline: 1 June 2012

This is a scholarship created to benefit a South African student on a BMEC or SPRU degree. The University particularly welcomes applications from students who are committed to returning to South Africa at the end of the year to pursue a career utilising the skills and insights they will have gained while at Sussex. The value of the scholarship is £24,000. The award will cover tuition fees, with the balance provided as a grant towards living costs.

 
James Henry Green Scholarship for South East Asian Students, 2012

Deadline: 30 June 2012

The James Henry Green Asia scholarship is available to students of South East Asian nationality or descent who are wishing to pursue an MA degree in Anthropology, Development Studies or Migration Studies at the University of Sussex. The one-year scholarship provides an award of £5,000 as a contribution to tuition fees. The scholarship-holder is expected to submit a final report to RP&M and to forward a bound copy of their MA thesis after successful submission. They are also expected to make a presentation on the subject of their research to the Trustees of the James Henry Green Charitable Trust at one of their annual general meetings during their tenure of the scholarship.

 
University of Nottingham Iran Masters Scholarship

Tuition fees scholarships are available at University of Nottingham for MSc Iranian Applicants. You can apply for this scholarship if you are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Iran and are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes and already hold an offer to start a full-time Masters degree programme (including MRes) at Nottingham in September 2012 – any subject area (excluding MBA).

 
Newcastle University International Postgraduate Scholarship (NUIPS)

National University of Singapore Research and Postdoctoral Fellowships

Applications are invited for (Senior) Research Fellowships, One-Year Visiting (Senior) Research Fellowships and Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Asia Research Institute (ARI). The positions are intended for outstanding active researchers from around the world, to work on an important piece of research in the social sciences and humanities. Interdisciplinary interests are encouraged. Up to three months of a 12-month fellowship may be spent conducting fieldwork in the Asian region

 
University of Edinburgh: The Calum Miller Scholarship for Foreign Students

Deadline: 31 May 2012

The scholarships are open to applicants who have an excellent academic record and who are applying for admission onto the Full-time MBA or MBA in International Business in September 2012. An award may be withdrawn if a student fails to meet the academic standards set by the University. the scholarships will only be awarded to applicants who have firmly accepted their offer through payment of the deposit. Applicants who hold full sponsorships are not eligible for the scholarship. 

 
Wageningen University: Anne van den Ban Scholarship Fund for Students from Developing Countries

The Anne van den Ban Scholarship Fund is named after Dr. Ir. Anne van den Ban, former Professor of Rural Extension at Wageningen University. The fund was founded in 1992 by two Wageningen alumni. The scholarship fund enables promising students from developing countries to study at Wageningen University. As a result, it contributes to the education of competent and motivated local experts, who can then play a leading role in solving the structural problems of their country in agricultural production, rural development and the environment.

 
Ragnar Nurkse scholarship for Foreign MA candidates

Deadline: 31 May 2012

All foreign candidates for the MA programme are encouraged to apply for the Ragnar Nurkse scholarship. The scholarship, will be financed through the budget of TUT Department of Public Administration and it will be awarded to a student who will start his/her studies at the MA in Technology Governance programme in the academic year 2012/2013.
