The Al-Maktoum College seeks to promote its innovative and unique postgraduate programmes in the study of Islam and Muslims. The College is offering Partial Scholarships for eligible international and home/EU students registering on the taught/research programmes at the Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education. Current students in the taught programme at the Al-Maktoum College may be eligible to apply for the Partial Scholarships, if they wish to continue their study to PhD level.

 
AUSTRALIA: John Dillon Fellowship in Agricultural Research

International Water Centre Scholarship for International Students

To support future water leaders, the International WaterCentre (IWC) is offering partial tuition scholarships (AU$5,000) to the first 50 students who enrol in the IWC Integrated Water Management programs (Masters, Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate) for 2012. These scholarships are available to Australian and international students who do not receive any external full-tuition scholarship or full-tuition funding from other sources.

 
International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) and Scholarships for International Research Fees

Applications are invited from suitably qualified international students for scholarships to undertake the degree of Master by Research or Doctor of Philosophy at The University of Western Australia. Application for a scholarship is also an application for admission to the University. The purpose of the IPRS and the UWA SIRF scheme is to attract top quality international postgraduate students to areas in which the University has specialised research strengths and to support Australia's research effort. Successful applicants can expect to become members of a research team working under the direction of senior researchers and in an area which has attracted external resources.

 
Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship (IIF) for Applicants from Developing Countries

This helps to develop research cooperation between Europe and other parts of the world to everybody’s benefit. IIF funding is provided for a research project which will transfer knowledge into your host organisation and building or enhancing collaborations between Europe and the rest of the world. The research project will also allow you to advance your career. Financial support is provided for 12-24 months.

 
New Zealand ASEAN Scholar awards for Students from Philippines

The New Zealand ASEAN Scholar awards empower individuals with the knowledge, skills and qualifications to contribute to economic, social and political development within the ASEAN region. The awards are for full-time postgraduate study (i.e. postgraduate diplomas, master’s degrees and doctorates) in New Zealand. An indicative allocation of 18 scholarships is made available for Filipinos who wish to obtain a postgraduate degree in New Zealand commencing in 2013.

 
Beit Trust Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies

The Beit Trust offers annually a small number of Scholarships abroad for postgraduate studies or research to graduates who are domiciled in Malawi, Zambia or Zimbabwe (the beneficial area). Scholarships are taken up at a university in the United Kingdom, Ireland or South Africa, for study in a subject of the individual’s choice appropriate to the needs of the beneficial area. Duration is normally for a maximum of three years at the discretion of Trustees.

 
Optoelectronics Research Centre International MSc Scholarships

Deadline: 1 June 2012

We are delighted to announce that we are offering up to ten scholarships of £3,000 to international fee status candidates who have been offered a place on the MSc in Photonic Technologies starting in September 2012. To be eligible to be considered for one of these awards, applications for the MSc should be received by 1 of June 2012. Awards will be allocated on the basis of academic merit and the winners will be announced by the 30 June 2012. Applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship upon application
