Quota Scheme Scholarships for Students from Developing Countries

The Norwegian government provides students from developing countries in the South and countries in the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe and in Central Asia with financial support to study for a degree in Norway under the Quota Scheme. The main objective of the Quota Scheme is to contribute to capacity building through education that will benefit the home country of the students when they return. The Quota Scheme is also intended to strengthen relations between Norway and the selected countries and thus contribute to internationalisation at Norwegian institutions of higher education.

 
UNIFEM Internship Programme for Graduate Students

The Internship Programme offers outstanding graduate-level students the opportunity to acquire direct exposure to UN Women’s work. It is designed to complement women's development-oriented studies with practical experience in various aspects of multilateral technical cooperation, but also complements other international studies, including law. There is no deadline for application submission, however, applications should be received at least three months prior to the anticipated internship

 
2012 World Bank Internship Program

The Bank Internship offers highly motivated and successful individuals an opportunity to improve their skills while working in a diverse environment. Interns generally find the experience to be rewarding and interesting. This Internship typically seeks candidates in the following fields: economics, finance, human development (public health, education, nutrition, population), social science (anthropology, sociology), agriculture, environment, private sector development, as well as other related fields. Fluency in English is required. Prior relevant work experience, computing skills, as well as knowledge of languages such as French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, and Chinese are advantageous

 
IARC Postdoctoral Fellowship for Cancer Research

The objective of the IARC is to promote international collaboration in cancer research. The Agency is inter-disciplinary, bringing together skills in epidemiology, laboratory sciences and biostatistics to identify the causes of cancer so that preventive measures may be adopted and the burden of disease and associated suffering reduced. A significant feature of the IARC is its expertise in coordinating research across countries and organizations; its independent role as an international organization facilitates this activity. Applications from candidates from low- and medium-resource countries or from any part of the world but with projects related to low- and medium-resource countries are encouraged

 
Victoria University: Susan Price Scholarship for MSc and PhD Programme

The Susan Price Collection, in the National Library of New Zealand, is a research collection of quality children's books published mainly in Britain, America, Australia and New Zealand from the 1930's until the present day. This Scholarship was established by Susan Price, through the Victoria University Foundation, to assist postgraduate studies and to encourage students to use the Collection in their research

 
R. H. T. Bates Postgraduate Scholarship for International Students

The scholarship, tenable at any New Zealand university for one year, is available to graduates who are registered for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Physical Sciences and Engineering. In accordance with Professor Bates’ love of interdisciplinary research a wide range of students in the physical sciences and engineering will be eligible. Preference will be given to those whose research aims to apply information/image processing to studies in medicine, the physical sciences, astronomy or engineering

 
Lincoln University: Suffrage Centennial Undergraduate Scholarship Female Students
Eligibility by Nationality - Scholarships for Caribbeans

Open to female students of any nationality who are enrolled full-time at Lincoln University and will be in their final year of an undergraduate degree in the academic year following their application for the scholarship. The Lincoln University Suffrage Centennial Undergraduate Scholarship acknowledges the increasing number of women graduating from Lincoln University.  It recognises excellence in academic achievement by a female undergraduate student
