The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program providing opportunities for citizens of the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia. Awards are also available for Australians to undertake study, research and professional development abroad.

 
Aga Khan Foundation: 2012 International Scholarship Programme (MSc and PhD) for Developing Country Students

The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies. Scholarships are awarded on a 50% grant : 50% loan basis through a competitive application process . The Foundation gives priority to requests for Master's level courses but is also willing to consider applications for PhD programmes, when doctoral degrees are necessary for the career objectives of the student. Requests will also be considered for travel and study awards for PhD students doing their research in Third World countries on topics judged to be of interest to the Aga Khan Development Network

 
The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds Travel Grants to European and Non-European Citizens

The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds awards travel Grants to European citizens working in Europe and overseas, and non-European citizens who will use the travel Grant to work in Europe. Researchers can be awarded one travel grant during a period of 12 months. A travel grant can be awarded only if the home institution continues to pay the applicant’s salary (in the case of PhDs and postdoctoral scientists), while the host institute covers research-related costs

 
UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD: The Weidenfeld Scholarships and Leadership Programme

The Weidenfeld Scholarships and Leadership Programme cultivates the leaders of tomorrow from transition and emerging economies by providing outstanding university graduates and young professionals with the opportunity to pursue fully funded graduate studies at the University of Oxford and access to a comprehensive programme of leadership development, long-term mentoring and networking. Awards are made for the full duration of a student's fee liability for the agreed course. If your scholarship is offered for a course lasting more than one year, the continuation of your scholarship each year is subject to an annual renewal process based on satisfactory academic progress

 
UNICEF Internship Programme for Graduate and Postgraduate Students
Eligibility by Nationality - Scholarships for Europeans

Deadlines: 1 July, 1 October

The UNICEF Internship Programme offers eligible/qualified students at both Headquarters and country offices the opportunity to acquire direct practical experience in UNICEF's work under the direct supervision of experienced UNICEF staff. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Masters or Graduate degree program, UNICEF does not accept applications from undergraduate students

 
UNU - WIDER: PhD Research internships for Economics PhD Students

The UNU-WIDER PhD Research Internship Programme aims to provide PhD students registered at a university and similar research institutions the opportunity to utilise the resources and facilities available at UNU-WIDER for their PhD thesis research; to produce papers suitable for publication in the Research Paper series and elsewhere and to work jointly with UNU-WIDER researchers in areas of mutual interest

 
International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management MSc Scholarship, 2012

International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources and Management offers scholarship programme to attract high quality international students to education and training in water resources management, delivered by ICE WaRM partner institutions full or part tuition scholarships to undertake full-time postgraduate studies in a Master of Water Resources Management programme
