Dissertation Fieldwork Grants are awarded to aid doctoral or thesis research. The program contributes to the Foundation's overall mission to support basic research in anthropology and to ensure that the discipline continues to be a source of vibrant and significant work that furthers our understanding of humanity's cultural and biological origins, development, and variation. The Foundation supports research that demonstrates a clear link to anthropological theory and debates, and promises to make a solid contribution to advancing these ideas.

 
Heriot-Watt University: Schlumberger Women into Science, Technology and Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship

Heriot-Watt is keen to attract women into the rewarding and challenging worlds of Engineering and Physical Sciences, therefore 3 scholarships of £1,500 per annum are made for female students. The awards are for those normally resident in the UK or another European Union country and the University reserves the right to give priority to specific subjects. East-West Center Graduate Degree (MSc and PhD) Fellowship for Asian Students

The East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship provides master’s and doctoral funding for graduate students from Asia, the Pacific, and the United States to participate in educational and research programs at the East-West Center while pursuing graduate study at the University of Hawai‘i. The fellowships cover the cost of tuition and fees, books, housing in an East-West Center dormitory, health insurance, and partial funding toward meals and incidental expenses. Funding for field study and conference presentations is offered on a competitive basis during the fellow’s period of study

 
University of Aarhus: PhD Scholarships in Theology and the Study of Religion

The Graduate School of Theology and the Study of Religion at the Faculty of Theology aims to attract applicants from among the best Master’s students abroad to enroll in our PhD programme at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. We offer a four-year, fully financed PhD programme in theology and the study of religion (incl. Islamic studies) at the highest international level. The PhD Scholarship is Advertised every April and October, with a view to commencing on 1 September and 1 February, respectively. The Faculty of Theology has approx. 800 students and 50 professors and associate professors. About 35 PhD students are enrolled at the Graduate School of Theology and the Study of Religion

The Purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage postgraduate research, one objective being to build up strong research schools at the University, Victoria offers scholarships to support Masters and doctoral studies. These scholarships are awarded on academic merit and are open to students of all Nationalities in any discipline. Also, approval may be given for scholarship recipients to undertake paid employment (usually tutoring) for up to a maximum of 600 hours in any one calendar year
