SEARCA Graduate (MS/PhD) Scholarships for South East Asian Students

The program provides support for advanced studies leading to the MS and PhD degrees in agriculture, forestry, and related fields. SEARCA aims to prepare highly qualified professionals working in agricultural and rural development for positions of leadership in SEAMEO member countries. Nationals of SEAMEO member countries (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam) may apply for scholarship.

 
New Zealand ASEAN Scholars Awards for Students from Vietnam, Myanmar, Mongolia and Nepal

New Zealand ASEAN Scholars awards empower future leaders with the knowledge, skills and qualifications to make key contributions to economic, social and political development within ASEAN nations. 170 New Zealand ASEAN Scholars awards are allocated for eligible students from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam, Mongolia and Nepal, to undertake postgraduate study at a tertiary institution in New Zealand.

 
University of Dundee: School of the Environment Scholarships
PhD - Environmental Studies

The School of the Environment is offering a number of scholarships to applicants for its Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. £3,000 Scholarship towards tuition fee for students entering with a first class honours degree or equivalent. £2,000 Scholarship towards tuition fee for students entering with an upper second class honours degree or equivalent.

 
Africa Initiative Graduate Research Grant 2012
PhD - Environmental Studies

The Africa Initiative Graduate Research Grant is designed to support innovative, policy-relevant research on Africa conducted by graduate students enrolled in a Canadian or African university. The grant is offered to up to thirty recipients each year. Each recipient spends as many as three months in Africa or Canada conducting research funded by the program. As part of their application for the grant, applicants are expected to self-identify professors and experts they would like to work with at universities in Canada and are required to submit an official letter of support from the university where they wish to be based

 
New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships

The scholarships provide financial support for international students undertaking doctoral degrees by research in New Zealand universities. Funded by the New Zealand Government and administered by Education New Zealand, the New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships are a significant educational opportunity and reflect the New Zealand Government's commitment to deepening New Zealand's educational partnerships with participating countries and regions
