The Open Society Foundations, in collaboration with EARTH University, provide five four-year undergraduate scholarships for Haitian students and five for students from Liberia and Sierra Leone to study at EARTH University, Costa Rica. EARTH University offers a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on natural resource management and social entrepreneurship. EARTH University provides an innovative curriculum focused on leadership, agricultural study, and community development to emerging young leaders to enable them to confront the social and environmental challenges of their home countries in tangible and socially responsive ways.

 
Czech Ministry of Education Scholarships for Developing Countries, 2012

The Government of the Czech Republic offers a number of scholarships within the framework of its Foreign Development Assistance Programme in support of the study of foreign nationals from developing countries at public institutions of higher education in the Czech Republic. Scholarship applications together with the required attachments are to be submitted to the appropriate Czech Embassy in the applicant’s country before the deadline set by the Embassy so that the applicants’ dossiers reach the respective Czech authorities

University of Ilorin, Ilorin, offers scholarship opportunities for International Students within and outside Africa in any field of their interest. The offer is opened to both undergraduate and graduate up to Master level. Undergraduate applicants must meet the admission requirements of the University. MSc applicants must have Second Class Honours, (Upper Division) or the equivalent in the bachelor degree

 
Amsterdam Merit Scholarships (AMS) for Non-European Union BSc and MSc International Students

Outstanding students from outside the European Economic Area can apply for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship. The University of Amsterdam aims is to attract the world’s brightest students to its international classrooms. Candidates must be officially accepted into a full-time degree programme at the UvA. The candidate must not receive a full-coverage scholarship from another organisation for the same period of study as the AMS scholarship and must be able to comply with Dutch visa regulations
