This award is for international applicants seeking admission to pursue a full-time PhD programme at NTU. The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the National University of Singapore (NUS). The PhD training will be carried out in your chosen laboratory at A*STAR research institutes, NTU or NUS. Upon successful completion, you will be conferred a PhD degree by either NTU or NUS

 
London School of Economics and Political Science: Margaret Bennett LLM Scholarship for Female African Students

Margaret Bennett is an LSE graduate who has established an endowed scholarship. This scholarship is available to support female students from Africa intending to study for the LLM. Preference will be given to applicants from north Africa. If you complete the LSE Graduate Financial Support Application form, you will also be considered for support from the LSE Graduate Support Scheme. Being unsuccessful with your application to the Graduate Support Scheme does not disqualify you from being considered for other awards

Funds for Women Graduates: Awards to Women for Postgraduate Study and Research

FOUNDATION GRANTS: FfWG offers Foundation Grants to help women graduates with their living expenses while registered for study or research at an approved institution of higher education in Great Britain. The criteria are the proven needs of the applicant and their academic calibre. For the academic year 2011 - 2012 grants will only be given for a postgraduate doctoral award (PhD or D.Phil). Grant Value will not exceed £6,000. All our grants are offered on a needs basis and therefore not all grants will be for £6,000. Those who have received a Foundation Main Grant in the past are not eligible to apply. Closing date for application is 4 April
