Deadline: 30 April 2012

The University of Edinburgh will offer two scholarships for postgraduate study in any subject offered by the University to students from Southern African countries. One of the scholarships will be available for a one year Master's degree programme and the other scholarship for a three year PhD degree programme. The scholarship covers the overseas rate of tuition fee and University accommodation for the duration of the postgraduate degree programme

 
NEW ZEALAND: Victoria Masters by Thesis and PhD Scholarships for International Students

Deadlines: 1 March, 1 July and 1 November

The Purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage postgraduate research, one objective being to build up strong research schools at the University, Victoria offers scholarships to support Masters and doctoral studies. These scholarships are awarded on academic merit and are open to students of all Nationalities in any discipline. Also, approval may be given for scholarship recipients to undertake paid employment (usually tutoring) for up to a maximum of 600 hours in any one calendar year

Intermediate Clinical Fellowships, 2012
Deadlines - April 2012

Deadline: 20 April 2012

This scheme is for medical, dental, veterinary or clinical psychology graduates who have had an outstanding start to their research career. It will enable successful candidates to continue their research interests at a postdoctoral level in an appropriate unit or clinical research facility. Fellows are expected to develop towards independence with a view to a long-term career in academic medicine during the course of the fellowship.

 
Science@Leuven Msc Scholarship for International Students

Motivated and talented international students, interested in participating in an international master programme of the Faculty of Science of the K.U.Leuven are invited to apply for a scholarship. Scholarship are awarded for; Master of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Master of Biology, Master of Molecular and Cellular Biophysics, Master of Chemistry, Master of Physics, Master of Geography, Master of Mathematics and the Master of Statistics.

 
KENYA: TBA Masters Scholarship for African Students
Deadlines - April 2012

Deadline - 30th April each year

TBA Postgraduate Scholarships are annually offered by the Tropical Biology Association to its African alumni and funded through a consortium of TBA funders. They are intended to help African alumni undertake postgraduate studies after they have attended TBA courses, as part of the TBA alumni follow up support programme designed to promote human resource development and strengthen professional expertise among African biologists in biodiversity conservation and research.

 
ASEAN Graduate Scholarship
Deadlines - December 2012

Deadline: December (Annually)

ASEAN Graduate Scholarship is open to nationals of Brunei Darrussalam, Cambodia, Indonisia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam to pursue a designated full-time Masters degree by coursework and dissertation at NTU. Students from Singapore are not eligible for this Scholarship.

 
Sheffield Hallam University International Achievement Scholarship for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies
Deadlines - June 2012

Deadline - 30 June 2012

The International Achievement Scholarships programme is open to students from any non-EU country applying to study at Sheffield Hallam University who will be enrolling in 2012/13 academic year. All full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses are taking part in the programme.

The scholarships will be awarded to well-qualified students who demonstrate academic, personal or professional achievement in the personal statement on their scholarship application form. Successful applicants will be awarded with a cheque and a certificate to mark their achievement at a Scholarships ceremony following enrolment on their course.
