Edinburgh Global Undergraduate Scholarships, 2012

Scholarships are offered to students who are nationals of countries outwith the EU for undergraduate study in any subject offered by the University. A minimum of 15 scholarships are available for the 2012-2013 session with each award worth £2,000 per year. Awards are tenable for the duration of the programme of study. Applicants must first apply for admission to the University of Edinburgh to be able to access the online application form and have full EASE authentication

 
EARTH University Scholarships for Undergraduate Students from Haiti, Liberia and Sierra Leone

The Open Society Foundations, in collaboration with EARTH University, provide five four-year undergraduate scholarships for students from Haiti and five for students from Liberia and Sierra Leone to study at EARTH University, Costa Rica. EARTH University offers a bachelor of science degree with a focus on natural resource management and social entrepreneurship. EARTH University provides an innovative curriculum focused on leadership, agricultural study, and community development to emerging young leaders to enable them to confront the social and environmental challenges of their home countries in tangible and socially responsive ways. During the program, students apply their learning through collaborative group projects, local field work and a mandatory internship in their third year.

 
Nordic Africa Institute: African Guest Researchers' Scholarship Programme

This scholarship programme is directed at scholars in Africa, engaged in research on the African continent. Female researchers are especially encouraged to apply for these scholarships. One important task of the Nordic Africa Institute is to establish and maintain relations with African research communities. This is inter alia carried out through a Guest Researchers’ Scholarship Programme, the aim of which is to provide opportunities for its participants to pursue their own research projects, thereby indirectly strengthening the academic milieux in African countries, and promoting scholarly exchange with Nordic research communities

UNIVERSITY OF LONDON: GDAI - PhD scholarships for Africans

The Centre offers two PhD scholarships to African residents. In order to apply for the PhD programme and the scholarship you would need to download the SOAS PhD application form. Please state on the form that you wish to be considered for one of these scholarships and that admission tutors are kindly asked to liaise with the Centre of African Studies on this. In addition to the application form, you would need to send me a proposal of the intended research in 1000 words max

NIGERIA: University of Ilorin Undergraduate and Graduate scholarships for International Students

National University of Singapore Research and Postdoctoral Fellowships

Applications are invited for (Senior) Research Fellowships, One-Year Visiting (Senior) Research Fellowships and Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Asia Research Institute (ARI). The positions are intended for outstanding active researchers from around the world, to work on an important piece of research in the social sciences and humanities. Interdisciplinary interests are encouraged. Up to three months of a 12-month fellowship may be spent conducting fieldwork in the Asian region

 
Juris Doctor (JD) Scholarship for International Students

The Scholarship program was established to assist high achieving international students to undertake the Juris Doctor Program at UNSW. Applicants must not be Australian Citizens or have been granted Permanent Resident Status within the first year of full-time study. Applicants must be eligible for entry to the Juris Doctor program prior to applying for the Scholarship, and be proposing full-time study in the Juris Doctor program at UNSW

 
Victoria University: Susan Price Scholarship for MSc and PhD Programme

The Susan Price Collection, in the National Library of New Zealand, is a research collection of quality children's books published mainly in Britain, America, Australia and New Zealand from the 1930's until the present day. This Scholarship was established by Susan Price, through the Victoria University Foundation, to assist postgraduate studies and to encourage students to use the Collection in their research
