How the ADB Scholarship Works:
Each year, the Asian Development Bank provides more than 300 fully funded scholarships. Asia Pacific University has been part of the ADB-JSP since 2010, offering these scholarships annually. The duration of the scholarship is 2 years.

Countries eligible for the ADB Scholarship include Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Cook Islands, Cambodia, Georgia, Indonesia, India, Fiji, Kyrgyz Republic, Kiribati, Kazakhstan, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Myanmar, Malaysia, Federated States of Micronesia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mongolia, Niue, Nepal, Nauru, Philippines, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Palau, Samoa, Sri Lanka, Solomon Islands, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, and Viet Nam.

- Abstract of any thesis or example of previous written work and/or list of research achievements
- Certificate(s) of employment showing at least two years of work experience after obtaining a bachelor’s degree
- Latest income tax return or proof of monthly/yearly salary of the guardian
- Certification of family income, including the applicant’s parents or spouse
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the SIIT Graduate Scholarships, applicants must:
- Be a national of an ADB member country
- Currently reside and work in their home country
- Have at least two years of full-time work experience after obtaining a bachelor’s degree
- Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application
- Not be currently enrolled in a graduate degree program
- Not be an executive director, alternate director, management, staff of ADB, or a consultant/relative of the aforementioned
- Intend to return to their home country after completing the degree
- Plan to enroll at APU in September 2025
