Chinese Government Scholarship: China Link Scholarship Program. The China Scholarship Council (CSC) invites international students and faculty to apply for the China Link Scholarship Program. This program aims to foster academic exchange and cooperation between China and other countries, supporting students and faculty in various academic and research activities at Donghua University in China.

Benefits
During their stay in China, scholarship recipients will receive:

- Monthly stipend:
- CNY 3,500 for senior scholars
- CNY 3,000 for general scholars
Eligibility Criteria
- Must hold citizenship in a country other than China and maintain good physical and mental health.
- Must be enrolled full-time as a student or employed as full-time academic staff at one of CSC’s international partner universities during the application period and the intended stay in China.
- For general scholars, applicants must be under 45 years old. For senior scholars, applicants must be under 50 years old.
Documents Requirement
All submitted documents must be scanned copies of the originals, preferably in color and PDF format, except for the ID photo. Original documents not in English or Chinese must be translated, notarized, and uploaded along with the originals.
Mandatory Documents
- Passport (and visa) Page: A clean copy of your current passport, including all visa pages if you have visited China before.
- Certificate of Highest Education: An enrollment or employment letter with an official seal or signature.
- Transcripts of Highest Education: All grades and semesters of your highest education, including an explanation of the grading schemes.
- Study Plan: A 500-word personal statement (for general scholar applicants) or a research proposal (for senior scholar applicants) written in the program’s teaching language.
- Foreigner Physical Examination Record: A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form filled out in English or Chinese, required for stays over six months.
- Non-criminal Record Report: A report from the public authority at your current residence, typically issued within six months before the application submission deadline.

How to Apply
- Initial Contact: Applicants are advised to contact DHU professors or research groups for initial acceptance, or contact the DHU International Student Office via email at iso@dhu.edu.cn.
- Submit Application to DHU: Follow the guidance of the International Student Office to submit an online application to Donghua University.
- Review and Pre-admission:Â DHU will review the applications. Successful applicants will receive a Pre-admission Letter and instructions on submitting the online scholarship application to CSC.
- Final Decision: CSC will make the final decision on the scholarship, which will be communicated to DHU academics, research groups, and the applicants via the DHU International Student Office.
